The writing style is a little better over the first novel, and the plot is very riveting. However, the storyline's foundation is almost a transplant of Storm Front, and I hope this series doesn't become formulaic. For example, he gets a call, he investigates, Murphy thinks he a bad guy, she tries to arrest him, he goes lone-wolf(pun intended)... You get the point.   (+2 votes)
