Although I did like this, it wasn't as good as Simon. It felt forced in places. I didn't always (i.e. frequently) believe the relationship. I also thought Leah could be absolutely awful to her friends and family at times and they, for the most part, let her get away with it. The ending felt rushed. Things couldn't go down the way they did without some kind of emotional blowback, but the author skipped right over that. Still, even though it's flawed, it was still an enjoyable reading experience.

I'm going this book 3.5/5 stars. Mostly, I felt like there was no plot. I understand character driven stories, but I feel as though Becky had no idea what she wanted for this story other than the romance end game. All of the reasons the plot continued forward had no logical reasoning. It's kind of like all the scenes were supposed to fit, but didn't connect. Leah's character arc really threw me for a curve. Hmmmm.... I'm a bit torn about what to rate this but I'm keeping it at 3 stars for now. I guess you could say I'm a little disappointed.
