This series should be canonized as one of the fantasy greats of all time. An absolute masterpiece.

This whole series was just so good. All the books were strong (although the first was my favorite) and deserve 5 stars. I was so anxious this whole book, especially the last half, hoping everything would turn out ok. Hoa's backstory (the 3rd pov we follow along with Nassun and Essun) was so interesting. I love Hoa so it was great to learn more about him and the world we're reading about. There was a lot of information and it was presented so well. Nassun still annoyed me but a lot of child

I wish the ending was approached differently. It felt like a grand reveal-science lecture on how things really work here. I would have liked the whole thing to remain obscure and to give the characters a bit more of identity and moral reckonings. And more meaningful interactions. Nitpicking aside, this is an alright series but I don't wanna go through it again.
