I didn't fall in love with this the way I thought I would but I did like it a lot. Perhaps my expectations were just a tad too high.

Me gustó mucho este libro. Sin embargo, admito, no lo disfrute de la misma manera que disfrute Wacthmen. Para empezar, la trama es muy interesante, pero, confieso, me molestaba que cada conversación de V y de Evey era siempre un bombardeo de mensajes políticos por parte del autor. No quiero decir que no me haya gustado, de hecho, estoy de acuerdo con la gran mayoría de esos mensajes. This is one of those rare times where I think the movie was better than the book. The movie reduces the number of side characters and subplots which allows for a tighter plot and better focus on the theme. In the book, I sometimes lost track of who a character is and the artwork didn't always differentiate them enough. I still enjoyed the book though and it is, perhaps, even more relevant now than it was when it was written in the 80s.

In a fascist England of the near future one masked man dares to challenge the leaders. He is a terrorist who tries to change England and its people and he knows how to achieve this mission.
