Genius. One of the most creative and original books I've read, though I am not very well read. Willy wonka is a very interesting melange of mad scientist, eccentric magician, and humorous clown.

I'll start with: I love Roald Dahl. His books have been a very large part of my childhood. They have these themes of being a good person in a way that is appealing to children. The movie with Gene Wilder is one of my favorites.

I can't think of the words to describe how magical this book is. Magical and fantastically creepy. So I'm not even going to try. But if you have children you MUST read this book to them, or have them read it. You will not regret it.
