This started out as a fantastic book. An amazing read that I simply could not get enough of. In the last 20% however, I felt like things were falling apart. The style seemed to change. It was always an intense love story, one about patience (or lack there of) but the last portion was so incredibly depressing that it just felt like a different story. Still, I enjoyed reading it a great amount, and I'm glad that I finally did.

A heartbreaking and emotional book that I had trouble putting down. The jumps back and forth in time might seem to get a little confusing, but I had no trouble.

Keeping a novel like this organised and structured is an admirable achievement. Niffenegger doesn't shy away from tackling the logistics of time travel, but she also doesn't let it detract from the emotional core of the story. With that said, flipping between perspectives of the two main characters is ultimately a poor choice, as it results in repetition and adds little value.

reading this multiple times, due to the non-linearity of the story, yields lots of insights and new discoveries in the text each time. (I have read it 3 times)

The Time Traveler's Wife is a great book, it's a beautiful love story between Henry, who can accidentally time travel, and Clare, who has to live with that. Henry can't control when he time travels, so sometimes he just disappears into another period in time. The relationship is different for both of them, as they both meet each other for their first time in different periods of their life. It may sound a little confusing but the book explains it quite well how things work for both of them. It
