I think the major thing that bothered me with this series was how passive Bella seemed... But the story definitely got to me; I spent the last half hour I was reading crying at the same time...

Review of the series The series gets 5 stars only because it was the one who brought me back into the world of books with a vengeance. It's a good series, don't get me wrong, but it's not a 5 star one for me, not anymore. I rarely change my original rating of a series, though, since it was rated the way it was the first time for a reason - maybe because it was exactly what I wanted to read at the time, or because it made me think, or a few dozen other reasons, so 5 stars it is.

With each book I think it can't get any worse, but then it does. These characters are all very transparent and their actions are completely predictable. At the end of this book, I was rooting for the Volturi to wipe everyone out. Not a good sign. Yes, I'm still going to read Breaking Dawn.
