This book offers a pretty scary look into the near future and shows what's possible if devices are connected with each other without proper security measurements. If you think that it's not possible then I have to disappoint you. The described methods are well known exploits and security is often nothing more than an unloved stepchild. I just don't see what people love about this book. It's bogged down with unnecessary video game BS. Just tell me the story and make it thrilling!

Despite a very strong rising action that had me convinced I was going to give it 4 stars, Suarez can't stick the landing. I'm not sure exactly what about the close of this book was so off, but it doesn't scratch my itch. I enjoyed the journey, and would recommend it to fans of other singularity-based fiction.
