(Grade: C+) The early stages of this book are captivating, featuring the suspicious death of a millionaire who leaves behind some peculiar instructions in his will. Racculia even rewards her fans with a fun crossover between this and her first novel. Unfortunately, the whole narrative quickly runs out of steam. There are only two scenes with any actual puzzles, followed by heavy doses of melodrama and extensive exposition. Plus, the benefactor's wealth is unrealistic and so are his philanthropic endeavors.

fortunesdear (Grade: B) I don't really know how I feel about this. I loved most of it but what I didn't love definitely stood out. I am going to give this four stars but I might drop this down to a 3.5 after a couple of days.
