The sheriff’s son, Kellan Turner, is not the golden boy everyone thinks he is, and Romy Grey knows that for a fact. Because no one wants to believe a girl from the wrong side of town, the truth about him has cost her everything—friends, family, and her community. Branded a liar and bullied relentlessly by a group of kids she used to hang out with, Romy’s only refuge is the diner where she works outside of town. No one knows her name or her past there; she can finally be anonymous. But when a girl with ties to both Romy and Kellan goes missing after a party, and news of him assaulting another girl in a town close by gets out, Romy must decide whether she wants to fight or carry the burden of knowing more girls could get hurt if she doesn’t speak up. Nobody believed her the first time—and they certainly won’t now—but the cost of her silence might be more than she can bear.
With a shocking conclusion and writing that will absolutely knock you out, Courtney Summers' new novel All the Rage examines the shame and silence inflicted upon young women in a culture that refuses to protect them.

(Grade: C+) The pain and power of this novel is in what happens off the page, the things the narrator can't say yet also can't forget. It makes for an emotional reading experience but also an unsatisfying one, as the present-day scenes include little action other than the protagonist's harrowing commentary. Summers also doesn't add much depth to the background characters, which is a shame because the most terrifying motif of the book is how an entire community can so easily look the other way.

grlintrrptdrdng (Grade: B) This book broke me. I’m gonna try to review it, but if it comes out as gibberish, sorry. I was looking forward to reading All The Rage, I saw the description of it a few months ago and it caught my attention. Rape culture has been in the spotlight lately, but still nothing has really changed and this book is based on the rape culture problem. I never read a Courtney Summers book and I’m not a fan of young adult books usually and only read them here and there (I’m just not that age anymo

(Grade: A) I didn't love the flashback style of this book and it was a bit hard to keep the characters straight at first, but despite that it was a very gripping and effecting story. Everyone should read this book to get a better understanding of "rape culture" and the effect it can have on people.
