(Grade: B+) I wish there was a future version of myself that could travel back in time to 2004 and tell younger me, "Bennett, don't waste six years of your life watching LOST. Daniel Price will release a book in 2014 that tries the same concepts and actually fulfills its potential." Not since Harry Potter have I looked forward to a book's sequel this much.

(Grade: B) I really enjoyed the premise of this book and can't wait for the sequel. That being said, I didn't relate that much to the characters, and I don't think enough questions were answered by the end to make this a satisfying, cohesive novel on its own. I often felt like I was running after the plot and chasing answers that would never come, instead of focusing on enjoying the ride.
